Participants made sketches of the design, then worked in groups to
create assemblies of
CDs.
The CDs are all held together with cable ties.
Each assembly corresponds to one pentagon of a truncated icosahedron.
The modules are joined together, using additional CDs as edges.
We had enough participants to assemble two constructions in parallel.
For this one, the group made two hemispheres, joined them together,
but then had to correct a couple of errant connections.
The other group added modules one at a time and had no problems.
