Five Cubes

Here is a variation on the usual (Chapter 11) compound of five concentric cubes in a dodecahedron.  It has a nice visual effect in person, like a tumbling, growing or shrinking cube.

There are five concentric cubes in five sizes (b1-b5) and five orientations.  No two cubes are parallel.  Each cube has six of its eight vertices in the face planes of the next largest cube and is held by six red struts (r1-r4) that lie in that face plane.
