Minuet
George W. Hart

This is my exchange puzzle for IPP-38 in San Diego.
It consists of thirty identical laser-cut Baltic birch components
The name Minuet comes from the way the parts dance around each other.

Goal: Assemble the parts to make a symmetric orb.

See below if you want a hint or the full assembly solution.

Hint #1:  Look briefly at the image above and try to assemble it based on that.

Hint #2: Make sure every piece is facing the same way.  Either clockwise or counterclockwise works, but all must be the same.

Hint #3: The first step is to make a pentagon, locking the arms of five pieces into a cycle.

Hint #4: Make a second pentagon that links with the first like two links of a chain.

Hint #5: In the end, there are six pentagons. Every pair links.

Hint #6:
There are three-fold spirals (surrounded in a concave manner) and five-fold spirals (surrounded in a convex manner), but no four-fold spirals.

Hint #7: Two parts always lock arms above the center of another piece.
